In this post we’ll go over two easy ways to check the specs on your computer. The first is the fastest, and will use the task manager to easily check your hardware. The second will involve downloading a well known program called Speccy to display all of your PC’s specifications.

Note: Both methods listed below are for Windows 10.

How to Check Your PC Specs With the Task Manager

Using the task manager to check your PC specs is incredibly fast. You’ll be able to see your CPU, Memory (RAM), storage, GPU, and more if you want it. Follow the simple instructions below to check your PC specs with the task manager.

Step 1:

Type “task manager” in the search box on your taskbar and open the Task Manager app.

Tip: You can also right click on the taskbar and select “Task Manager”.

Step 2:

Once you have the Task Manager app open, click on the “Performance” tab near the top.

From here, you’ll be able to see your GPU, Memory, Storage, GPU, and more. You can click on each one to see the hardware details.

How to Check Your PC Specs With Speccy

Using Speccy to check your PC specs is incredibly easy. You’ll be able to see a summary of your computer, CPU, RAM, Storage, GPU, and even active temps. Follow the simple instructions below to check your PC specs with Speccy.

Step 1:

Download and install the free version of Speccy. Simple instructions are provided on Speccy’s website to complete the quick install.

Open Speccy to see a quick summary of your PC including all of your PC’s hardware.

Once you have Speccy open you’ll be able to see a complete summary of your entire PC. You can also very easily look deeper into each component if you wish. That’s it! Super easy, right?
